Gartner positions DataVard Furthest for Completeness of Vision in the Niche Players Quadrant
Gartner 2015 Magic Quadrant for Structured Data Archiving and Application Retirement
Heidelberg, July 15th, 2015 – Software and consulting company DataVard GmbH has been positioned on Gartner“s June 15, 2015 „Magic Quadrant for Structured Data and Archiving and Application Retirement“. The annual report is compiled by Gartner based on completeness of vision and ability to execute. Analysts recognize the vision and execution of DataVard, and positioned DataVard the furthest for completeness of vision in the Niche Players Quadrant.
Based on Gartner’s estimates, the size of the structured data archiving and application retirement market is $263 million – with additional related product revenue at $27 million – and growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10 percent. According to Gartner analysts, by 2016, 75 percent of structured data archiving applications will incorporate support for big data analytics.

The solution can be linked among others particularly to every SAP-certified database management system, SAP IQ or Apache Hadoop, or data-/cloud-based storage systems.
